AdSubtract and 7.01

Postby chessie-system » Sat 11 Jan, 2003 10:15 am

I seem to be having a problem with the way AdSubtract deals with 7.01. AS has the feature of deleting selected cookies, temporary files and history. Sometimes when I delete cookies, empty the temp files and history I get the screen that asks me to register my screen name again. Everything else works great, but the constant having to re-register is a pain.

Does NS store screen name info in the history or the temp files? The cookies I delete are from sites that I choose not to keep cookies from.

I don't know what AdSubtract is. However, in Netscape 7.01 there are some settings where you can control cookies by site based and remove them after certain days.

Gary look at a file with a bunch of numbers and the letter s in your profile files. This is my fourth attempt to reply to you.
