i am using sendmail 8.0 with linux enterprise edition 4.0.
there is 8 domain with 100 mailboxes in my mail server.
problem:when i am using webmail,and sending mail ,this type of problem is happeining...like my mail server name is mail8.mailserver.com, and i am sending mail from uday@mymail.com,but it apearing to recepient as from uday@mail8.mailserver.com..pls help..
i have not configured the mail serevr...i think squrriel mail is used for web interface...

Was [tt]mailserver.com[/tt] shown up somewhere in full header section? e.g. received from xxxxx by [tt]mailserver.com[/tt]?
I don't think you can change that. (At least I don't know how.)

But you should be able to specify From (sender's) email address.
