Digidesign has released an Intel processor native version of its Pro Tools application.
Digidesign Pro Tools LE 7.1.1 and Pro Tools M-Powered 7.1.1 software updates are now available
[img=left]http://sillydog.org/pix/MacOSX_Universal_45px.gif[/img]Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools M-Powered 7.1.1 software are free updates that support Apple’s new Intel-based iMac, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini computers. Both updates run natively on Intel-based Macs, making full use of the host computer’s processing power. These updates are only for Intel-based Macs.
Registered Pro Tools LE 7 owners and registered Pro Tools M-Powered owners (any version) can download the appropriate update at the Digidesign and M-Audio® websites or order an installer CD (for a nominal handling charge) from the online DigiStore.
The company also confirmed that it will continue to support Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools M-Powered software on the PowerPC platform.
