Code 39 Error installing Digital Camera

Postby Marc Sadowski » Tue 19 Dec, 2006 11:22 am

Much like the CD Rom guy who had the Code 39 error, I'm having a similar problem. The only difference is that my problem is my Canon Rebel digital camera. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition.

It worked for a while but now it's not. When I plug in the USB cord, it gives me a three tone error ring. I checked in the device manager and saw the Code 39 error. Canon Customer Service said that it was a Windows XP problem.

Any help with this would be most helpful.

Cheers,

I have no idea, but take a look at this thread.
I think that Canon could do a bit better. It is not an old or obsolete OS.
