Google Web Toolkit 1.2 released

Postby Antony » Thu 16 Nov, 2006 2:20 pm

Google has released version 1.2 of Google Web Toolkit (GWT) with support for Mac OS X. Google Web Toolkit is a Java development tool that helps build AJAX applications, such as Google Maps and Gmail.

GWT lets you avoid many of these headaches while offering your users the same dynamic, standards-compliant experience. You write your front end in the Java programming language, and the GWT compiler converts your Java classes to browser-compliant JavaScript and HTML.
