Mac OS X's Inkwell (built-in)

In [sdt=12497]Mac OS X is start[/sdt], I mentioned "Inkwell". This feature is not so well known, because the setting is hidden by default. Once you plugged your tablet into your Mac, you can see the Ink option appeared on your System Preferences.

One of the feature in Inkwell is handwriting recognition. I conducted a test.

It recognised my handwriting very well. Again, Mac OS X is smart.

QuickTime Player 5.02 or later required.

That is some pretty good handwriting for someone who can't speak English.

I'd try something similar with the Office OCR, but I don't have a tablet or a scanner, and my writing ability with a trackpad is probably ten times worse than my awful handwriting.

Thanks Billy, but it could be very possible that someone wrote on a piece of paper and I clipped that piece of paper on the tablet and traced over it.
How does this story sound?

Inkwell can be used for inserting sketches as well, you don't need to buy another software just for this :-)
