Hidden and dangerous 2

Postby snwuk » Thu 20 Nov, 2003 3:17 pm

Hi, I've just recently bought Hidden and dangerous 2.

My problem is I have lost CD key - I think the wife has cleaned it up somewhere! The thing is I need to reinstall windows and the problem is that when I try to reinstall H&D2 I wont have the CD key.

Does anyone know if it is stored in the registary anywhere and if so how do I retrieve it?

Thanks

lost CD key

Yeah, that kinda sucks. You could try phoning the company and possibly you'll get someone with some compassion, and they can get you back rockin' & rollin'. I had a similar incident a couple of years ago when I had to rebuild my OS and then my "key" for the antivirus software wasn't recognized. I persisted - you know the drill - this guy transfers you to that guy who transfers you to . . . . but I just kept bugging them and they reset the key and I was good-to-go.
Hang on with the tenacity of a pit-bull, and I'm sure they'll issue you a key that'll work, once they get it into their heads that you won't go away. And you shouldn't.
Peace & Love,

Thanks for that Raj, I will get right on it. They should scribe the serial key into the disc or something..so empty heads like myself cannot lose it
