Security fix for critical Internet Explorer flaw

Postby Antony » Wed 17 Dec, 2008 7:12 pm

I first heard this recent critical Internet Explorer vulnerability in Sunrise (show) this morning.
According to Sunrise's The Gadget Guy, a Chinese security firm released some software that opens the backdoor in Internet Explorer allowing hackers accessing to your computer. This affects Internet Explorer 5.01, 6, 6 SP1, and 7.

Microsoft has released Security Update for Internet Explorer (960714).

SillyDog701 recommends all Windows users update their Internet Explorer even if users' main browser is not Internet Explorer.
