Extra application's memory on OSX

Postby allen-uk » Thu 29 Mar, 2007 9:43 am

Hello all.

Running OS 10.4.9 on Intel iMac.

Is there any way of increasing application memory allocation? Can't find a note in the Apple Help lists, and clicking command i on QuarkXpress does not reveal a 'memory' option.

Ideas?

Allen.

Not really (at least not for designed for average home users). Mac OS X is designed to handle that automatically for you.

You can see the memory usage by open
Activity Monitor which is located under Utilities which is under Applications.
