What Is The Name Of The Saved Forms/Password File In FF 3.x?

i suspect this has been posted before but i had no luck with search. Installed 3.5.1 portable to a new folder & then copied my 3.0.11 profile in 3.5. Everything worked except saved passwords.

There was no need to copy the profile used from one version for another, because each version will write into the profile, as needed. I replaced my 3.0.11 with 3.5.1 portable, just yesterday, but did nothing to the Profile, which is in this path, on my computer: C:\FFportable\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile (also in my thumb drive).
I have all the passwords. My profile has both signons3.txt, and signons.sqlite, as well as key3.db file. FF portable is in my hard drive, mainly, as a check for possible issues.

I discovered the answer, in case anyone else runs into this. I wanted to have both versions, in case 3.5 was buggy for me, so i copied the profile; but I have since learned that a significant amount of people are also experiencing this even if they install over the top of an old version. If you experience this, the solution that worked for me is to shut down FF, delete signons.sqlite, & restart; passwords are once again available.
