March 2007 browser share: Safari drops, Firefox gains

According to Market Share. There are some bad news and good news.

Microsoft Internet Explorer continue to slide in March, 78.57% in March (down from 79.09% in February, and was 84.70% March last year).

Firefox increased to 15.10% in March, highest in the record. (14.18% in Feb 07, and was 10.05% March last year, the first time Firefox reached 10%).

As for Apple's single platform Safari, it reached 4.51% in March 07, despite small drop from February (14.18%) Safari's market share is still increasing. (Safari had 3.19% March last year.)

Netscape had only 0.70% share in March, and Opera was slightly better with 0.80%.
