Installing Mac OS X on multiple computers

Postby Sonadow » Tue 19 Jun, 2007 10:14 pm

i got...erm...my brother's iBook toilet seat...erm..i mean, G3, my Macbook and soon-to-be-bought- iMac. And i want to install the latest OS X Leopard on all of them.

THe problem?Im not gonna shell out almost $300 for the 5-license version...so i was wondering if its possible to actually just buy the single license retail version of Leopard (when it arrives) and install it on all 3 computers? ^^;;;;

Technically speaking and based on previous Mac OS X, yes you can. Legally speaking, that's another matter, if the Leopard is to be used for more than one person (up to 5 person in the same household), you should get the family license.
