The link to this forum was listed on a Netscape.com page WITHOUT mentioning that this is NOT run by Netscape and without mentioning that none of the users here are from Netscape. IE: I first came here thinking that it was a link to a feedback page to complain about bugs.

When I saw it was not a form but a clone of phpBB I failed to realize that this was not a site put up or run by Netscape. That was the origin of all the miscommunication.

This is just to explain how the whole thing started. I will not open this topic again so save your keystrokes.

And since the userbase here is a very elitist frat-like clique (that is always a very bad thing) it is par for the course that new members would be treated the way I was. So you can all return to your in-house drama and find some other person to dogpile. For all its worth, some of you showed you were reasonable but some others showed they excell at one thing... being lousy examples of humanity in one way or another.

But just to clear up an age old debate, there is no such thing as a designated season for rabbits. So you know what that means...

It's DUCK SEASON.

I believe it is mentioned on Netscape.com that this is a community based support site.

Most of us are (perhaps were) Netscape users. We supported Netscape during its worst time. We don't claim that we were the best Netscape supporting site back then, I believe it is safe to say that we were one of the very few that continued Netscape support during its toughest period.

We always accept and welcome different opinions. We also disagree from time to time. We don't mind people complaining products here. However, we ask all our users to be polite and respect others. Aggressive tone is certainly not welcome here.

So far, we still don't know when they "promised" Netscape to be a suite.

Perhaps there are some other better places for you, such as UFAQ.org (they are also listed in Netscape.com) MozillaZine's Other Applications and Distributions.
