If you don't want to upgrade your Mac OS X 10.4 to latest version, you should stay with the iTunes that comes with it, or use Software Update (under the blue Apple menu) and update iTunes.alovett wrote:Hi all, I recently downloaded the latest version of iTunes only to find it's not compatible with my system. I have OS X Version 10.4 Tiger. I don't really want the hassle of upgrading the whole system, so I downloaded iTunes version 4.9 (I don't know which version I had on here originally). When I tried to install it. I got a message saying there was no default application specified to open it with. Can anyone tell me what application I need to install it?

Did you update QuickTime as well?alovett wrote:Thanks for the fast reply. I already did update iTUnes from the blue Apple menu but I can't use it on the system I have. I just thought I could download an older version and install that again, but I don't know which application to select to install it.
