A popular screen capture software (with movie capturing ability) and SillyDog701's official screen capturing tool, Snapz Pro X has released an update to version 2.1.1. This update addresses some issues in compressors and improved performance for audio captures. Snapz Pro X became a Universal Binary in version 2.1 released on 21st June. Snapz Pro X first support Intel-based Macs in version 2.0.3 released in August last year.
Changes/enhancements
Snapz Pro X 2.1.1 features the following changes/enhancements:
- New integrated registration interface
- AmbrosiaAudioSupport.kext 2.3.3 fixes a deadlock in IOServiceClose, stack alignment bug
- The installer may require restart if unable to load the kext immediately
- Fixed bug which would cause certain compressors to save huge movie files
- Movie processing no longer fails silently under QT7 on older hardware
- Clicking delete now plays dismiss sound effect instead of success
- Added preference to control network version check
- Fixes garbled images on G5 iMacs running 10.3
- Restored G3 support broken in 2.1.0
- Fixed object selection under Leopard
Snapz Pro X 2.1.1 costs $69. Upgrades from Snapz Pro X 1.0 w/ movie capture are $20. This is a free update to registered users of Snapz Pro X 2.0.
