I could have told them from the start that it was essentially a dud and would result in a dramatic drop in users. Wonder what else AOL is going to wake up too before it's too late?

I personally prefer the old web petrol Netscape.com rather than the Digg-like "social news".

The new Netscape homepage ( Netscape.com ) will be the new Netscape portal (similar to the old Netscape home page. And the Netscape social news will be migrated to http://www.propeller.com/

Looks like http://www.propeller.com/ is already live. I went to the FAQ page and was surprised to see that there's going to be a Propeller web browser! I immediately inspected the URL and looks like they just overwrote "Netscape" with "Propeller". Ha! :lol:
