Reminds me of the splash screen that was used for Netscape 2/3. Anybody have a screenshot of that?

I have a Special Edition - Using Netscape 3 book (800+ pages) published by Que; chief writer Mark R. Brown; copyright 1996. Accompanyig the book is a CD-ROM with Netscape 3 and other goodies. (Paid $4.99 for it ('Orig 49.99') on a closeout shelf at CompUSA in 1999.)

Netscape is in two compilations: 16-bit for Windows 3.1 (and family), and 32-bit for Windows 95 and NT.

My first actual use of Netscape was 4.something downloaded via IE onto a 95 system.

My first was Netscape 3 Gold edition. It came with the Sympatico (Canada) connect to the internet CD (at the time I was living in Canada).

As an aside, I recently visited my son (in Canada) only to find that he has purchased an i-Mac. Wow is about all I can say. I'm seriously debating going over to the "other side". And should that happen, Netscape will not accompany me.
