How do you uninstall programs from Mac OS X?

A few programmes comes with "uninstaller". All you have to do (or try) is to run the installer again, and the installer might provide uninstall feature.

However, if the application does not have an installer (i.e. simply drag to Application Folder (or any location)). All you need to do is simply drag the application to Trash.

Wow dragging it to the trash seems much simpler than try to uninstall it in Windows.

Wow dragging it to the trash seems much simpler than try to uninstall it in Windows.

However, some newly switchers from Windows have the concern of applications not being non-properly uninstalled (as in Windows) which they don't need to, there are some applications to remove associated files (preference file etc) such as AppZapper.

Please keep in mind that OS X applications do not have files like [tt].dll[/tt] spreading all over the harddisk, they are all inside the Application file (package actually).
