One site misbehaves

Postby Fulvio » Mon 22 Oct, 2007 5:37 pm

http://alltel.com
I have wireless (cell phone) with Alltel, and, I have been paying my bills on line.
But, today, I ran into a snag, using Firefox2.0.0.8. When I login, and enter it does nothing at all. CPU is 100%, and, only, Cntrl+Alt+Del take me out of Firefox, which was running, not the expected not responding. I tried other browsers:IE7 and Navigator 9 worked fine. Opera allowed me to login, but I could not get the pay bill page. Seamonkey1.1.5 loaded the pages after an unbelievable wait. I called Alltel, and they have no known problem.
Of course, this could be checked only by people with an Alltel account.. I deleted Cache, as well as the cookie. Still nothing. Has anyone gotten into a similar problem.
By the way Firefox works fine with any other site.

No help here, all sites are fine, just my form fill problem, which also does not exist in N9, as does not your Alltel problem.

Mind you that my problem began with Firefox2.0.0.8. And that Navigator9.0 (based on Firefox2.0.0.7) was ok, but Nav.9.0.0.1 was not. I did not expect any help, unless someone has an Alltel account.

Did you report this as a bug via Bugzilla? I'm sure there are others who have Alltel service and might be able to shed some light on what's happening.
