The new UA string states that NS9.0.0.4 is based to Gecko revision 1.8.1.10pre, released '20071127' - i.e. on Tuesday 27th Nov. The rest of the string informs about Firefox/2.0.0.10 Navigator/9.0.0.4, of course.

The new version can be downloaded from http://browser.netscape.com/downloads/

According to Release Notes document

Netscape 9 update has been tightly following Firefox's. Which I believe it is a good news.

This is a good news are things are becoming better in this field.

Probably they have exact information from Mozilla.org what is the exact release time of newest Firefox and it helps them to plan their processes.

New vulnerabilities fixes have been assigned to security advisory
Netscape Multiple Vulnerabilities from Secunia today.

Severity level: Highly Critical (i.e. 4/5)

Solution:
Update to version 9.0.0.4.

It's quite good that Netscape is merely a day behind Firefox in update terms, which means they're really on the ball with it.

I was a doubter but I'm glad to say, I was wrong. I've been using NN ever since it went to final and I'm lovin' it.

FlashBlock

Postby HalleluYAH » Fri 30 Nov, 2007 8:50 am

Do any of you know if it can block Flash-ads like FireFox can? And Have any of you been able to play Google Videos (not YouTube videos) with this browser? If so, please tell me why those google videos wouldn't work for me?

Google-video Example:

Seek The Truth. Please visit Alternative-News (ie Infowars.com & JonesReport.com) websites to find out the truth about the "September 11th, 2001 Terrorist-Attacks". Don't trust the mainstream news all of the time.
