I truly cannot fathom why this "man" is what the Networks have decided to focus on for sweeps. Ugh! I can't even write about it, it is so pathetic. Y'all have a nice day, I am going to go hide out with my Hank tapes.

Living with Michael Jackson

Postby Antony » Thu 13 Feb, 2003 8:20 pm

Living with Michael Jackson - Special Encore Presentation will be re-aired tonight 8:30 on Channel Seven (NSW, ACT, SA, Vic, WA, QLD)
Living with Michael Jackson was aired on Channel Seven Tuesday last week.
A fascinating personal insight into the mind of one of the world's biggest stars. Renowned British reporter Martin Bashir has spent the last eight months with the music legend and was with him in Berlin when Jackson was thrust back on to newspaper front pages across the world after controversially dangling his baby over a hotel balcony. In a series of interviews from America and Europe, the reporter talks candidly to the reclusive star about all aspects of his life, no subject is off limits... from the allegations of child abuse to the debate over his skin colour. Featuring a unique look behind the scenes at Neverland, Jackson's extraordinary fairytale ranch in California which is equipped with its own fairground and zoo. This truly is Michael Jackson as you have never seen him before.

Read that link in the first post Antony made, it pretty much explains it. Then grab some good ol' Hank Williams, turn off the TV, and CRANK WITH HANK BABY, YEAH!

Michael Jackson is King of Pop

Postby Antony » Fri 14 Feb, 2003 4:11 am

Mr. Tinkles,
Michael Jackson is King of Pop!

You need to read the article "Was Michael Jackson Framed? The Untold Story". I had it printed out in New Zealand, and I will try to find the link.

Michael Jackson Strikes Back Tonight

Postby Antony » Thu 20 Feb, 2003 7:31 pm

Michael Jackson Strikes Back Tonight

The embattled "King of Pop" will tell his side of the story on FOX tonight at 8 p.m. ET.

Jackson claims Bashir pasted footage together to present a distorted picture of the entertainer's life and also says the journalist ambushed him with questions about a 1993 child molestation allegation. Jackson says he has his own outtakes from the interview sessions, shot by one of his employees, that will vindicate him. The Jackson-sanctioned version of events will air February 20 on Fox.

Michael Jackson Delivers Counterpunch

Postby Antony » Sat 22 Feb, 2003 9:47 pm

Michael Jackson Delivers Counterpunch
Bashirs will come and go," declared makeup artist Karen Faye, "but Michael will live forever in everyone's hearts."

Rowe herself said she has little contact with her children -- Prince Michael, 5, and Paris, 4. (Jackson's third child, the infant Prince Michael II, is from an anonymous surrogate mother.)
"My kids don't call me mom because I don't want them to," Rowe said. "These are Michael's children."

After watching last night's spectial presentation, The Michael Jackson Interview - The Footage You Were Never Meant to See, Michael Jackson was clearly betrayed by the journalist.

Jackson's lawyers' statement wrote:"Consistently Michael Jackson has argued that Martin Bashir and Granada broke the agreement by which he was permitted to film Michael, concerning ownership of the filmed material and permissions relating to the inclusion of the Jackson children."

"In particular, Granada has failed to honour an agreement reached earlier this month to deliver up to Michael Jackson unused film footage of his children, where recognizable."

From Daily Telegraph:
Jackson, 44, sold footage of the pair talking, shot by his own camera, for $2.7 million to the US Fox network after claiming Bashir's documentary, produced by Granada, had "utterly betrayed" him.

Shown across the US on Thursday evening, Jackson's TV hit-back shows Bashir lavishing praise on him and the "spiritual" quality of his Neverland ranch.

The reporter is also shown showering compliments on the star for his generosity and loving relationship with his children.

Jackson's documentary sets out to prove Bashir edited his eight months of footage unobjectively to paint an unflattering picture of "Jacko".

In looking at Antony's current avatar (as of this date), I think he's had his head stuck in that shark's mouth much too long!

Otherwise, I fully agree with your comment. :)
