“AUTH LOGINâ€

Postby eem » Sun 16 Feb, 2003 9:59 am

I desperatly need some help. The people running the mail server I use, and must use, decided to install a proxy filter on the SMTP server. I can send mail within the organization work for, but all external mail is blocked. They say it's a problem with Netscape using "AUTH=LOGIN" instead of "AUTH LOGIN". Does any of this make any sence? and are there any geniouses who know how to fix it without giving up Netscape? I've used Netscape Mail of some 4 years and really don't want to switch.
