Now, don't get me wrong, I don't love the snow, but I sure like the fact that it doesn't put my house at risk for fire.

Antony, where in Australia do you live?

Unless he's living in the west.

Not in recent weeks, but Sydney has been very very hot (40s) in late January and early February.

The autumn started today in Australia, which means the end of a very unforgettable summer for many Australians.

The past summer in Australia: flooding, record high temperatures, and the worst-ever bushfires.

Here's a report from last night's 7News (Sydney):

They're forecasting between 9 and 15 inches (23 to 38cm) of snow in the Greater Boston area today. Locally it doesn't look too bad, but I heard that areas further out west are getting socked.

Extreme weather in Australia

THE year began with drought and flooding rains.
While northern Australia flooded, southern Australia was enduring a heatwave, near-record low rainfall and, in Victoria, unprecedented bushfires.

The Bureau of Meteorology said possible thunderstorms the last few days.

All we got was sun. :(

Pulaski is finally warming up. It's a nice sunny day, with a relative 30F degree temperature. Time for some sun bathing.
