That's not too far south from southern New England. It is supposed to be a little cooler here on Sunday.

Lucky you. My laptop has already over heated once. Though, I was rendering a five minutes 1080p video in Premiere Pro CS5 which may have had something to do with it.

Do you have a laptop cooler underneath it? It should help with any overheating issues. I have one under my laptop and it cuts down on the laptop's internal cooling fan usage.

No, but I have been looking into getting one. I have a 9 cell battery, which makes the laptop stick up at an angle which helps a little bit.

Snow? Yikes. Hate the stuff. Luckily we've been in the clear for about two weeks now.

The weather here has been fantastic as of late. Maximum temperatures of 18 -> 22C with a nice breeze and a few clouds in the sky. Getting down to a rather cool 6 -> 10C at the night time. I truly doubt that it gets much better than this. :)

It has been raining for the last many weeks. And the forecast is not looking good.
Cold, wet, rain and more rain.

Finally, some sun today after weeks of raining. (but the forecast said the sun won't last for long)

Been really wet here.

It got hot around midday today!

The official weather says it's now 81°F/27°C, but I'm still getting 102°F/39°C on the thermometer in here. Going to make for wonderful sleeping weather tonight...

Don, were you measuring the temperature of your gadget room with multiple devices switched on? It is will known that electrical devices generate heat. Or did you stick your thermometer on something hot?

It's not so much the electronics as it is the position of my bedroom relative to the house. For the entire afternoon, it's in direct line-of-sight with the sun, which easily raises it another few degrees. Even then, the weather forecast listed the weather as "Hot" yesterday:

For most of us in hot summer days, we close the curtains on all windows facing sun during the day to reduce the heat. Perhaps it does not look nice, but here temperature can go over 40°C easily.
