How to back up iPhoto Library.

Postby VetteHead » Mon 12 May, 2008 7:47 pm

Is there any software available what will allow the use of multiple DVD's to copy the iPhoto Library? When I tried to back it up using a DVD it said there wasn't enough room and to remove files. But it is one file.

Thanks

I don't know any software that is specified for iPhoto backup. There are some other alternatives, such as Backup.app (from .Mac, a free trial membership will do).
Toast provides disc-spinning feature if you have files or folder larger than the size of DVD, it shouldn't have problem backing it up.

Be default, the iPhoto Library is located in [tt]~/Pictures/iPhoto Library[/tt]
