20 Feb, 2003 4:35 am Nominations for Project Kitchen Sink 7.02 [sdp=8073]

Project Kitchen Sink 7.02 will appear in due course. I'm after a list of what Mozilla addons people would like to see in it. The current list contains:

- BannerBlind
- Calendar (Feb 14 '03 Snapshot)
- Googlebar (Latest snapshot)
- Chatzilla 0.8.22 (Feb 16 '03 Snapshot)
- Checky 0.5.3 + Checky Toolbar 0.1 (New!)
- Enigmail/Enigmime 0.71.2 (Updated)
- JSLib (Feb 7 '03 Snapshot)
- MozGest 0.3.5 (Updated)
- Dom Inspector & Javascript Debugger (Moz 1.0.2 XPIs, Updated)
- MozTweak 1.2 (Updated)
- I may backport the New Classic theme to 7.02, but only if there is some interest in it

Naturally, it will be considered experimental, at least initially. Any comments, suggestions and feedback can just be attached to this thread. Notification of 7.02-pre builds will be seperate from this thread.

Hate to make this suggestion, but you might want to consider a different name than Kitchen Sink.

about:kitchensink

Actually, I brought this up with the guy responsible for about:kitchensink before the 7.01 version was ever done. It's not a problem calling it "Project Kitchen Sink" Smile

Sounds great! Just wanted to give you a heads up, but it sounds like you're quite on top of it already Smile.

One suggestion for an addition add-on: ROT-13

Noted. I'm just trying to squeeze a 5th computer/4th monitor in this room, after that's complete I'll start getting to work on this Smile

Wouldn't mind seeing ChatZilla in there.

What exactly is Kitchen Sink going to be, a customized Netscape?

Simply a factual comment. It is going to be highly annoying that I can't keep the first post updated, which is why I mentioned it.

Around 15MB, since I'll be junking a lot of stuff like plugins.

As for New Classic, I've got screenshots of the browser and Composer with it. It requires 1.2 or later, and the scrollbars and dropdowns are not part of the theme (They're part of Mozilla's GTK theme support on Linux).

I really like Prefbar, although you probably can not include that in your package. Perhaps you can include a link to Prefbar or mention it in your readme file.

I could probably include prefbar, if I totally rewrote the installation for it.
