Right outside Apple Store on King St. I'm within the first 50 people in the queue.

I guess no other SillyDog701 members queuing outside Apple Store Sydney for the grand opening.

I walked into the store not long after 5pm (as I was one of the first 50 customers). I got the Apple T-shirt.

Image

I left at around 5.35, and there are still thousands of people wanting to get into Apple Store Sydney.

As for the glass staircase, it has since become Apple Store's tradition design (if the Store size allows).
In Apple Store Sydney, the staircase is not visible from outside, and not the first thing you can see when you walk in.

My impression about the store? It's really beautiful, and the feeling is different... (not just because it is Apple but) you don't get the pushed to buy anything.

I bought a cleaning kit (iKlear). I did not have anything that I want to buy at the time of visiting. (I have pretty much every Apple products I need, for now.)
iPhone 3G is the next item.

One problem with Apple Store Sydney's location: no parking around. Unless you are willing to pay $8-$10 (or even higher) per hour parking rate. Well, it's in Sydney CBD.
