Thumb drives in My Computer

Postby Fulvio » Mon 04 Oct, 2010 5:47 pm

At this point, beside the usual drives, I have an external drive, for backups, which shows up in My Computer as drive FF, and a thumb drive, which shows up as drive G. Beside those, I have two more drives, which I had named H and S, respectively. They do not appear in My Computer, but I can type in H:/ or S:/, and the contents show up.
Any way to have been show up automatically, so that I can look at the properties of the drives, rather than having only the contents?

I am not sure about how to get it to appear automatically, but I am pretty sure that when you navigate to H:\ or S:\, you should be able to click on the blank space inside the explorer window and see the properties.

Thanks, John. To be precise, right click in the empty space. All I wanted to see what how much space was taken up, and how much was available. This information is given under Details, on the left side, but the invisible icons do not give this info. But right click|Properties gives the desired info.

Oops I meant to say right click. Sorry about that, glad you got what I was hinting at though.

And glad I could help.
