iBook Clamshell

Postby theswanstale » Fri 16 Jan, 2009 10:02 pm

So my wife and I have a macbook. I love it. I just bought an iBook G3 clamshell for fun. I was wondering if anyone knew if i could put a faster processor in it. Should I go for a whole new motherboard? I love the clamshell and wanted to upgrade it a little. Thanks

Hey James, glad to see you came over here.
I don't personally know anything much about the iBook, but someone may.

Hello theswanstale,

Welcome to SillyDog701. I hope you can enjoy this place.

I've never heard of aftermarket speed upgrade on iBook G3. Sonnet sells a number of processor upgrades for Macs.
