Does anyone know how SeaMonkey 2 and Thunderbird 3 are going?

Thunderbird's update is not as frequent as Firefox.

SeaMonkey 2.0 is now at Alpha 3.

it is a while before a release, but it is progressing well. There will be a SeaMonkey 1.1.15 to address the issues that lead to FF 3.0.7, within a few days. There is an RC available.
Thunderbird 3.0 is closer, its at Beta 2:

Since many security issues that affect a browser don't really apply to a mail/news client, I don't know if there will be a further update to the TB 2.0 series.
