Someone, and the person knows who, will say, of course, it is because of the several versions and half versions which I have that weird things happen. And, of course, weirdness occurs.
I am using 3.5.7, but Firefox portable, installed on my hard drive is 3.6. I have, also 3.5.8 and 3.7 nightlies. All but 3.6 are the same in having AI Roboform Toolbar 6.9.98.
3.6 portable listed 6.9.95, and I had no way to update or uninstall it. I was able force installation with the Nightly Tester Tool. Now, all buttons are there, and I still have 6.9.95, which could be uninstalled, but the addon not updatable still, but looking at the Options, it says that I am using 6.9.98. Is it now not fun!

Those are pretty strong words, Richard. I'm surprised at you.

You might find this Wikipedia article about the term interesting!

Illegitimi Non Carborundum

Technically: Illegitimi non carborundum, which is not the same as: Non illegitimae carburndum est. I was quoting the mispelling, and not the meaning of the phrase, which is made up, as seen in Amrad's quote.
I have had five years of Latin, in the old country, and either correctly spelled or not is not Latin. To Amrad, thanks for the link.
