Hey, John-

Sorry, I was remiss in not congratulating you on your crunching efforts. That's a nice roster of projects. You can register at http://boincstats.com/ to see your credits results on the BOINC stuff. You need to use the same user id and password as you use on the BOINC projects (egad!! I hope that you did use the same user id and password on each project - that's what establishes your "cpid" cross project identifier.)

Well everything except WCG uses my email, but WCG uses a username. So I hope that isn't a conflict.
And I do what I can. I know it isn't much; and I don't have a really powerful cluster. But hey, anything helps.

John-

Yes, my situation is the same, email and password for all but WCG, where it is user id and password.

When you fill out the "Your Account" page for each non-WCG project, there is a spot for "Name" right under email address. I used the same name, "mitrichr" for all of them.

If you got to BOINCStats, enter the user id from WCG, hopefully it's the same as "Name" on the other project's Your Account pages, search Name, click on My detailed stats, you should see where you are.

If you did not use the same name, or did not yet discover the Your Account pages, for each project, then by all means fill them out, with the Your name the same as what you used on WCG.

If all of your projects are not under the same CPID, it is because you did not use the same email address for everything, and/or the same name for everything. Find any culprits, make it all uniform, and in a few days, the CPID will be self correcting.

Let me know what happens, I am ALWAYS here to help a fellow cruncher.

Remember also, EVERY project has forums, and BOINC Stats has forums, all of which are very helpful, albeit there are some snide snippy guys like in all forums, except SillyDog. If you do use the forums, and you do run into a guy called "Sekerob", consider yourself lucky, tell him you are a friend of "mitrichr".

Don't hesitate to use all of the myriad resources that BOINC and WCG give us.

Turns out that I setup the naming thing the right way. All of my project are listed, and my stats are showing up.
Here's a screenshot:

John, go to your page, click on Boinc Combined, you will get a new page, Project overview. Go to the right and click on the blue and white bar graph icon, you will see your detailed stats.

If you want to see mine, enter mitrichr in users and search.

Nice going.

Thanks for the sentiment, and nice to see a new name.

The BIG question: are you a cruncher?

How stable are the BIONIC clients? I used to run Folding @ Home, but in the end I gave up because the clients were so unstable and they were always giving me trouble.

Thanks for your interest.

BOINC is notorious for putting out releases which do not last. You can go to http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php which is allegedly for all versions. I am running 6.10.43 with no problems. This build does not show up anymore, so it's not all versions. This build did not last because of problems with people processing with GPU (graphics processor) as opposed to or along with CPU. I do not so this so 6.10.43 is fine for me.

All 6.x will process the same, it's the litle niceties that may differ, not the crunching.

World Community Grid is still on 6.2.28 which is totally solid.
BOINC is recommending 6.10.58 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can be safe with 6.6.38.

I am on 6.10.43 because after 6.10.25, one could run the BOINC screen saver but dial back and not run any project screen savers. So, what i see is the names and the current position of the two, four or eight currently running tasks. So, I can just glance into a room as I walk by, pause for a couple of seconds, and see what is running.

Hope to have you on board.
