Yes... we heard and I find the project obscene. Sorry... generally I refuse to be drawn into political controversies online but this one is just beyond the pale of decency as far as I'm concerned. Beyond my expressed feelings, I'm not prepared to debate the issue.

Hope you're enjoying your summer, John.

Understood James, and I am; been working hard on Geometry, as well as my Photography.

Ah... photography. I was once a member in good standing of our city's camera club. Those were the days of shooting Kodachrome slide film. Used many different slrs: Minolta (a couple of those), Canon and a Nikon. Today the little shooting I do is with a Pentax dslr K10d and a Panasonic. We're off to Italy in a few weeks. Hope to get some decent shots. We'll be staying in Tuscany and visiting Florence and several other towns nearby.

Somehow though... my travel photos never turn out quite the way I "remember" the scene. I suppose the images lack the smell and taste and whatever related memories I have and therefore can't quite touch the original. But for others viewing the image... who can say what they take away from it?

Religion is always a controversy topic. It has been one of the main courses of the wars throughout (European) history.
