Actually, Gecko is just as fast as in 1.01RC1.
1.1 is also nearing completion, but we are waiting on a bug which I don't have access to (likely a security issue).

Do you get any indication as to why there is thing. Kind of late to be in NS7.

One quick note: the number of OSes that support 1.0.1 RC2 are limited. Win32, x86 Linux, Mac (Classic & X), OS/2, and HP-UX are listed. If you need another OS, you'll have to use a previous binary or build it yourself.
