Address Book

Postby RDOC » Fri 04 Jul, 2003 10:52 am

Netscape 4.80
I have a backup folder of Netscape. How can I get the address book from it and put it in the Netscape that I am currently using. What files or folders make up the address book?

If you are just trying to replace the address book in NS 4.8, just go to wherever you have the backup stored and find ADDRESS (it is an NA.2 file if I remember correctly) and copy it and then go to your Netscape 4.8 program and and find the same file under users, yourname. If the file in NS 4.8 is damaged, delete it before pasting the backup. I think that should do the trick. If I misunderstood your question, post a clarification (i.e. if you are trying to put the address book from 4.8 to NS 7.x).
