Hi,

I am running Windows 98SE, 186 M RAM, lots of hard drive.

I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled Netscape 7.1 several times but can't get it to open. The icons appears on the desktop but after it loads RealPlayer nothing else happens. When I click on the desktop icon, or even through Explore and clicking on the .exe file, the program won't open.

I also have 7.02 which works fine.

Can anyone suggest a solution to my problem? I'll try anything as I really want to try 7.1.

I looked at your earlier post on this same problem here:

In situations where Netscape 7.1 will do nothing at all, you need to
-UNinstall Netscape using Add/Remove Programs
-reboot
-Delete of all leftover folders including:
~\Program Files\Common Files\mozilla.org (which contains the GRE folder) and
~\Program Files\Netscape\Netscape (assuming that's the install directory)
-delete associated registry entries
-Reinstall Netscape 7.1 and create a new profile

Before doing the above you may wish to re-download Netscape 7.1 to make sure you have a good installation file.
