Netscape download

Postby djv1 » Wed 31 Mar, 2004 10:20 pm

is there any place to get a compressed version of netscape 7.02, I see that it is like a 14 mb download and I am still on dial up internet, so is there any way to get a smaller version?

thanks

The smallest version of Netscape 7.02 available is a stand-alone Navigator that includes the browser component and little else, available from SillyDog701Netscape Browser Archive. This is a 10MB file. All Netscape and Mozilla downloads are already compressed. Netscape 7.02 is a fairly big program, and there's little way around that.

I guess the only way I have around it is to goto one of my friends houses with high speed and download it.

thanks

Shouldn't this thread be in the "Netscape and Mozilla" forum . . . ?

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!
