If you are into PDF, you might want to read PDF and Panther: The Hidden Role of PDF in Mac OS X 10.3

We all know Apple Mac OS X :panther: came with better support for PDF, especially in its Preview, it read PDF documents faster than Adobt's own Acrobat Reader (up to v.5) or Adobe Reader (from v.6).

Adobe Reader (v.6) is very slow when compared to previous version of Acrobat Reader.

If you are just an average user, don't need to create a professional PDF or PDFs for working group, the built-in PDF feature of OS X is enough for you.
