Discrimination Against Children at Sillydog

Postby Ron Williams » Tue 15 Jun, 2004 4:47 pm

Recently I noticed that a post of mine was removed along with my signature. Antony erased my signature due to "strong advertising". In my signature I just explained my likeness to the program trillian. I am not an "advertiser of trillian". I just enjoy using it. Also I posted a statement saying that the bickering between users at sillydog is "stupidity". Whether you realize it or not a statement of fact or opinion is not rude but in fact is true and opinion my voice and belief. I contacted a moderator yesterday and understood the reason for my post to be deleted. Today I log on and see that my signature has been deleted. Maybe you can answer that.

Also my post about how do users become moderaters was locked and answered by a user but how right that answer was is questionable.

I also am positive that this will be deleted or locked soon after I post this.

What does this have to do with discrimination against children and more importantly, why can't SillyDog discriminate if it wants to? No injustice has been done on this privately operated forum. I agree it's a bit petty to perform censureship on what you've described, but seriously, SillyDog does not answer to you and has placed an emphasis on keeping endorsements out of its material. Please understand why Antony and the moderators are doing what they are doing.

There's no discrimination against Children. A good forum requires some censorship.

You used the tone of infomercial and the same language as those you can find in the advertising material.

This was your post,
piranarew wrote:Why is there a constant "cat fight" between Loraine and devilgrrl87? I mean if you have a problem with some one go make your own forum on www.proboards.com and use that not sillydog701. I like to be able to use a forum without hearing (only word to describe it)stupidity.

It was just not appropriated back then.

Not complete? No one has edited (removed) any thing out from your post. In my previous message, I quoted out the entire message you posted.
