does anyone know how i can get aim and it not be detected on my computer

If you mean for AIM to integrate with the rest of Windows, that is probably only possible in really early versions of AIM that no longer work. Otherwise, there may be some other sort of AIM client such as Trillian at www.trillian.cc that doesn't integrate with Windows

Yes, Trillian was meant to combine a bunch of IM services into one single client. With Trillian, you can contact people using MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, and you can also connect to IRC chat rooms.
