Moving messages from NS4.7 to new computer with NS7

Postby David-71 » Thu 20 May, 2004 8:02 pm

:?:
I have moved my bookmarks to a new computer with NS7,
from NS4.7 by copying the file, but have great difficulty moving
the message file with about 800 messages. I have tried to import just one message by calling it a Eudora file. Doesn't work.
I have moved messages with older NS versions W/O difficulty.
Do I have to copy the whole mail system or What ??
My bookmarks work fine on the new computer with NS 7.
Help with any ideas.
Thanks much.
David.

Does this link, Manually Transfer Mail Files from Communicator, Netscape 6/7, Mozilla, to Netscape 7/Mozilla, from Ramona's NETSCAPE & MOZILLA SOLUTIONS help?

David,
make sure you rename the old file, and then, after you are settled down, break it down to a more manageable size.
