Again, off-topic, but I found a post from Greg that had a fix for getting Windows Messenger off XP:

Worked beautifully and now that pesky piece of software is gone from my PC! I use Outlook Express to access my Hotmail account and it would start MS Messenger everytime I opened it. I owe a big "thanks" to DJGM for that one!
