Admin privelages on Guest account

Postby Don_HH2K » Sat 03 Jul, 2004 8:58 pm

I recently dug out my old Guest profile on one of my XP Home machines. I want to be able to use some of the features that admin privelages are required for. Is there any way I can use the following features in a Limited account by providing a password:

Set Program Access and Defaults
Power Management
MSConfig

Note that I'm running XP Home and not XP Pro.

To what I see you can't unless there is some new software out there, but if anyone does find out I could use it to, it could be useful on some accounts.

No. You need Windows XP Professional to change user permissions like that.
