So, I've updated my installation of Mozilla Firefox to 0.9.3, and there's an "update" available already . . .

Hmmm, that doesn't seem right, now does it . . . ?!?

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

This might be pointless to say, but on a historical perspective: this is the first time we've had a "x.x.3" version of a Mozilla app since Mozilla 0.9.3, which was also the first.

Not only that, but Mozilla 0.9.3 was released almost exactly three years before the Firefox version of the same number.

I think Firefox 1.0 may be delayed to May of 2005

And while we are on the topic of Mozilla x.x.3 releces, I noticed there is a "Mozilla 1.4.3" directory on ftp.mozilla.org. ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/m ... illa1.4.3/

That's interesting, I thought the Mozilla 1.4 branch was frozen when Mozilla 1.7 was relesed.

Yes, but I didn't think they did bug fixes after freeze dates.

This may be why NS 7.2 was pushed back; to include this latest update.

Would make sense....

If that's true, then the CD's are already obsolete!
