Aggreg8 RSS Reader.

Postby TEEH » Thu 19 Aug, 2004 6:14 pm

Hi to everyone in this message centre. It happens that I needed an rss reader and found this Aggreg8 which would nicely integrate into Mozilla based browsers, so it did but after some keystorkes found some bugs and now I want to uninstall it but the author did not put any information about the uninstall process. Does anybody in this group knows the way to do it.

Thanks a lot,

Ooooo Netscape 7.1. There's no extension manager in Netscape 7.1. Well, the best thing is to overwrite your user profile with a backup copy made just before installing, LOL From Hindsight.

See Mozilla's instructions for uninstalling extensions. Where it says "Mozilla" think "Netscape." If you need a hand locating the profile directory, see the profile directory location page.

PS the bugs you were seeing may have been because Netscape 7.1 is quite old, and the extension was no doubt developed for a more recent browser. If you're inclined to repeat the experiment, you may want to try again with Netscape 7.2 and the older version of Aggreg8; the one for Mozilla and Firefox 0.8. Sorry, I can't personally say whether it'll work.
