Hi there,

I'm new here, so I'm not sure if it's ok to start this thread in this section. Anyhow, I downloaded Netscape Navigator 7.2 this morning, and it doesn't seem to work with a few websites, most notably Yahoo webmail.

The bit with the little icons (circled in pic below) goes completely missing in Netscape, and I haven't been able to work out why. I'm just wondering if anyone else has the same problem.



Another website that Netscape seems to have a problem with is the jobsearch engine at Jobcentre Plus. The options (unlike in IE example below) just don't appear at all.



I rather like using Netscape (or perhaps to be a little more precise...I've just about had enough of IE!), and am quite miffed that I keep running into problems, so it'll be great if someone here could help me out a little.

This is because the additional feature (formatting) is coded for MSIE only. We can't do anything about that, except suggest Yahoo to add similar feature for other browsers.

The same applies to the other site. There so many sites which code only for IE. In some cases, it works to complain, although I have not succeeded with Yahoo.

I tried to spoof my UA and those things appear, but don't work.
