A book that's easy to put down

Postby buzzeditor » Thu 02 Sep, 2004 3:35 am

My girlfriend's got a brand new iBook and I've set it up with two different ISP on a pay-as-you-go providers (UK2.net and UKU), and both times the transfer rate barely tops 33,000bps.
The iBook has a built in 56k modem but it runs incredibly slow. My G4 with its 56k modem runs so much quicker online.
Has anyone any tips on how to make it run a little quicker other than going for broadband?
