I have loaded Netscape 7.1 on my computer but it did the same thing with the other versions when I loaded them as well.
The first attempt to start up Netscape from the desktop icon or from the programs menu has no problems. Netscape starts up and runs great. But, after shutting it down then starting it up again it does not work. Nothing happens. I noticed when shutting the computer down though that Netscape seems to be running in the background. Then, when starting the computer up again, Netscape again works fine ont he first attempt only.
Can someone help???? This is irritating to have to restart the co mputer everytime I want to load Netscape.

You may have to create a new .profile especially since you said that you had the same problem with other versions. The Profiles of major upgrades are not compatible with new ones. So you are, almost certainly carried on the problems of past. This is especially true if you used the same version of 6.x to 7.x. The

I doubt that this applies in your case.
