JayGarcia wrote:And just what do you mean by "so-called" Attorney?? I hope you didn't mean that in an offensive way!!

As a matter of fact my wife is a retired IRS Collections Attorney that dealt mainly with Corporate entities. She knows Trademark law enough to have survived over 20 years with the IRS. And yes, you are correct about attorneys not being involved directly with Trademark and Copyright law. But it doesn't take an attorney to know what a Trademark is and what isn't.

I mean what I say, I have never seen a mention of her ever. Why you would suddenly say she's an attorney seems to be more like "piling on the crap". Your lies have lead to more lies. So why believe you now. And so what even if she's your wife and a lawyer, she probably says stuff to shut you up. You constantly say you are finished with your statements and then say more (need I mention another lie?).

Well I provided you with a source regarding trademarks. You Provide something to back-up your claim other than saying your wife said so.

Insults registered and source considered.

Read it for yourself:

http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/tac/tmfaq.htm

SillyDog701 is not a trademark or service mark by definition. Antony is not involved in a business or commercial enterprise that uses that logo and it is not associated with a product or commercial service for that matter. Do you pay to use this forum?

And now that the domain swap issue has been resolved in a professional and upstanding manner I see no reason to enter into another pissing match with a skunk. It's over, deal with it.

Yes consider the source, a person who does not block people from viewing a forum and then LIE, cybersquat on a website, or any other unethical activity.

wikipedia wrote:Commerce is the exchange of something of value between two entities. That "something" may be goods, services, information, money, or anything else the two entities consider to have value. Commerce is the central mechanism from which capitalism is derived. The process of transforming something into a commercial activity is called commercialization.

Antony accepts donations (1 value), and people us the forum (a service provided due to donations and antony's/moderators hard work). This makes the words SillyDog701 a trademark of antony.

I don't want to get involved, but Jay Garcia told me
about 3 years ago that his wife was a lawyer. I think
he said her name was Candy, not sure but I had used
that name in another place at one time in 1996, I guess that's why it rang a bell.
I was only 28 when I used that name...lol

I'm not the best friend of Jay;) ~ but we straigtened our
differences out via email.

Perhaps I am naive, but I don't hold any ill feelings towards Jay G. I suppose he was just doing his job. As far as I am concerned, it is all water under the bridge.

Jay Garcia is advertising

I see you don't understand how domain transferring works. * is the parent domain on my co-located VPS server at Verio. Whenever a NEW domain or one that has been removed from active service takes place, the place-holder as it it called displays the parent domain until such time that the domain is re-located to another provider. Antony is in the process of transferring the domain, it's all been worked out satisfactorily. So in other words ... butt out!

That's NOT my site !!! Please do NOT make false accusations. If anybody wants to see exactly what is happening and where SillyDog701 is temporarily pointing to (I have no control over this), then see: http://www.*

You also said she had an LL.B
I bet you don't remember what I replied to you Jay? :)

Well, so you don't have to waste your time, I will tell you,
I said, I had an LL.D and for people that don't know what that is, Legum Doctor, Doctor of Laws. :)

After I was banned from NTMM, we continued our arguing in emails and settled nothing.
The bot was Jay's boss. He couldn't stop it from deleting me. :)

Antony, swap the titles, and forget about it. It's not worth the hazzle. You have a good site here. Let it be.
One of you will end up being sued for 'Defamation of Character'.
Do it privately.

Why have two different threads for this subject?
I didn't notice there was another one.
So at last everything seems to be settled

I wouldn't have posted the previous message had I known.
Good luck to both of you.

Not an LLB but LLD. And she also holds a PhD in Criminology. And as a side not was trained in Paris before we got married as a French Pastry Chef. So if you get food poisining as a result of her cooking she can also handle your lawsuit .. :-)

If "that admin" does not wish to identify himself/herself, someone who represents UFAQ.org may tender an apology on the word censoring issue.

SillyDog701 has never censored UFAQ.org. The story of word censoring deployed by UFAQ.org can be found in [sdt=7565]this thread[/sdt].
