Just curious...

Just curious, does anybody have any idea:

1. How many people downloaded Netscape 7.2? and
2. How many people are using Netscape 7.2?

Thanks.

I've been a consistent Mozilla suite user since about, oh Netscape 6.1 ... recently however I had decided to give 7.2 a go (kinda missed the 'ol 'N' thobber) and had used it as my default for about a week and a half and then started having program freeze when I would go to close out of mail. Much to my chagrin I opted to just go ahead and remove Netscape from my computer one final time and I'll be sticking with the Mozillas as I had before - guess there's too much commercial crap interwoven into Netscape's 'final' product or something.

I never had a problem with any Netscape or Mozilla, except once. In each case I uninstalled an older version ( no over the top installs), or installed a new version in another folder. In the latter case, I always used a different profile.
I had trouble only once, when I installed Moz1.7.1 over 1.7. At this point, I am not sure where the problem lied, because I ended having to crate a new profile, beside uninstaklling and reinstalling.
But I have been able to reuse profiles of unistalling version, even Netscape's for Mozilla. I think that it is easier to go from Netscape to Mozilla profile, than the other way around.
So, if any potential no-no was used, try again.
